If I’d Known Then What I Know Now

“If I’d known then, what I know now” and “If I had it to do all over…” Ever said or thought those words? I think at some point, we all have. Next time you think it, try to look at it from a different perspective.

Every road you’ve traveled in life has shaped where and who you are today. God had a plan for each moment you’ve faced and He has one for your tomorrows.

Every step along this journey has been for a purpose and to teach you something. Ask yourself this; “had that not happened in my life, would I be where I am today?”

If you’re looking at your life now with regrets, give it to God and start thinking differently about those regrets. Every day that you wake up, God gives you an opportunity to be a better person than you were the day before.

Your past doesn’t have to negatively define your future. Look at the tough times like a stepping stone to where you are now. Give thanks for where you are, where you’ve been, and for where you’re going. Ask and trust Him to be by your side each step of the way.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
